In 2024, the department completed work on a new textbook for training marine engineers at the level of operation and management entitled “Internal combustion engines of modern marine vessels”.
The book most fully reflects the current level of development of marine piston engines and the prospects for their further development. It is illustrated with more than 500 high-quality color and black-and-white drawings, which allows you to assimilate the educational material as effectively as possible. The book can be useful for both students and teachers of higher maritime educational institutions, as well as current marine engineers, graduate students and everyone interested in this branch of knowledge.
